BC Ferries provide most of the services and connections between the Mainland and Vancouver
Island. Many of the smaller islands also have ferry service as well making it very easy to
explore Vancouver Island and surrounding island communities.

You can drive here from the BC Ferry terminal in Nanaimo (approx 1-1/2 hr drive) or approx
3 hours from Victoria, BC. See Travel and Accommodation links below
If you don’t have a vehicle there are bus/coach services running daily.
Island Coach Lines runs up and down the Island from Victoria to Port Hardy making
stops in Courtenay which is located closely to Comox where the boat is located. The bus
station is about a 10 minute drive to Comox Marina.

There is also a passenger railway that runs daily to and from Victoria making stops in
